20 Years Later

September 11th - And the walls came tumbling down

One white dove flew free over the blue sky,
that morning in September,
as the giants of glass, marble and steel stood high,
under the sunrays, never backing down, never surrender.

They were watching over the bustling city,
not knowing that it will be their last breath,
when the flames of fanaticism full of sin, so dirty
brought with them pain, sorrow, and death.

And the walls came tumbling down,
On that cursed day in our recent history,
Grief and sadness were all around,
A trail of tears and misery.

So many innocent souls died that day,
But the black monster has no victory,
We miss our loved ones, cry and pray,
Hope, Freedom, Love, Faith forever alive will be!

From our sad hearts, tears still flow,
And we remember them each hour,
Their memories, we’ll never let them go,
To their grave humbly today, we bring a flower.
